Studies show that diversity is correlated with economic vitality – a more diverse population is associated with greater levels of entrepreneurship, innovation and overall economic growth. The ability of the Baton Rouge Area to advance economic growth across the region hinges on its commitment to inclusive opportunities for all people in the region.
As BRAC has committed to creating a more inclusive economy, the second annual Economic Inclusion Symposium will include more educational breakout sessions, a nationally recognized Equality of Opportunity expert, and a vendor connection showcase for minority-owned businesses to connect with local contracting opportunities. Session topics will include: Workplace Transformation, Elevating Your Game, From Paper to Practice.
