Mental Fitness for Small Business Success: A Self-Assessment

February 9 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am CST

FREE

Topic: Managing a Business
Launching and running a small business is a wild ride, filled with ups and downs and will certainly pull the owner in many different directions at the same time. With so much to accomplish and being solely responsible for the success of the enterprise, it is no surprise business owners and leaders often feel their lives spinning out of control.

The workload can strain connections with people and easily lead to anxiety, stress, and depression. The good news is it doesn’t have to be that way. Just as physical fitness aids the body, mental fitness aids the mind.

There are positive measures that can be taken to sustain mental well-being regardless of the pressures resulting from operating the business. The first step is a mental fitness assessment. The assessment identifies the challenges that must be overcome, and the mental toughness necessary to meet those challenges. The assessment also inventories mental strengths and weaknesses so attendees will know how to maximize their accomplishments and minimize their shortcomings. Attendees will also learn the coping skills that promote mental fitness and helps them succeed.
