About

The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) delivers high quality, individualized business advising and technical assistance to existing small businesses and pre-venture entrepreneurs.  We provide problem-solving assistance to help small businesses access capital, develop and exchange new technologies, and improve business planning, strategy, operations, financial management, personnel administration, marketing, export assistance, sales and other areas required for small business growth and expansion, management improvement, increased productivity and innovation. 

Our mission is to facilitate the formation and growth of small businesses through individual one-on-one consulting services, entrepreneurial workshops, and training programs. With a network of 10 regional locations across all 64 parishes, professional LSBDC consultants turn simple ideas into profitable business ventures. Since 1983, LSBDC has broadened economic opportunities in Louisiana and fostered successful entrepreneurs.
