About
The Louisiana Small Business Development Center offers high-quality technical assistance to existing and start-up small businesses, and to small business entrepreneurs in Louisiana at no cost to the client. The Small Business Development Center Network is the largest provider of management and technical assistance for small businesses in the United States. Our challenge, and pleasure, is to facilitate the formation and growth of small businesses through individual one-on-one consulting services, entrepreneurial workshops and training programs. We provide the business education and information resources to help develop Louisiana’s economy. Our funding is provided through a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration and Louisiana Economic Development. We are essentially pre-paid through federal and state tax dollars. The workshops we provide are not free, but are at very low cost, packed with high quality content. The LSBDC was established in 1983 and is located strategically to service all 64 parishes in Louisiana.Services Provided
