Through the direction of Commissioner Juana Marine-Lombard, the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC) is responsible for overseeing the alcoholic beverage and tobacco industries within the state. ATC also strives to assist taxpayers applying for alcohol and tobacco permits with prompt and quality service, in an effort to deliver permits in the shortest time possible. ATC is further devoted to the enforcement of the laws of the State of Louisiana to protect and safeguard all citizens.

MISSION: The mission of the Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control is to maintain the integrity of Louisiana’s alcoholic beverage and tobacco industries through effective regulation that promotes responsible business practices and the prevention of access to underage persons.

GOAL: The Agency’s goal is to provide taxpayers with superior customer service throughout the permitting process.

VISION: The Agency’s vision is to be the best in the nation. The people of the state of Louisiana deserve no less.

ATC accomplishes its goals through the objectives set forth by each of the 4 following divisions that frame the agency: Administration, Business Development, Enforcement, and Legal & Prosecution.
