Algiers Economic Development Foundation

About

Founded in 1991, the Algiers Economic Development Foundation was established to advocate for the interests of Algiers-based businesses. It was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the IRS in 2011. AEDF focuses on three main pillars of economic development:

  • Local economic development
  • Small business support
  • Community development

Core Values

Community: AEDF believes in a holistic approach to economic development, centering opportunities to improve our COMMUNITY not just through business attraction, support, and retention but also maintaining an awareness of the ways transportation, housing, and workforce development can improve the lives of those in the Algiers community.

Relationships: AEDF develops and maintains meaningful RELATIONSHIPS with community groups, businesses, and leaders in the economic development sector to maximize value for our community.

Leadership: AEDF seeks to serve as a leader for Algiers and to develop business and community LEADERSHIP to create a bolder, more sustainable future for our area.
