About

The mission of Lafayette Public Library is to enhance the quality of life of our community by providing free and equal access to high-quality, cost-effective library services that meet the needs and expectations of our diverse community for information, life-long learning, recreation, and cultural enrichment. To fulfill this mission the library offers a wide variety of programs that often include small businesses themselves or ways to use local resources to their advantage. Physically, the library has meeting and study rooms that can be reserved for use by those with a library card. Books, magazines, and other physical media are available for use and checkout. There are computers and printers at each branch for use by patrons. Patrons can access our digital resources in-house, or anywhere with their library card.
