Why join? It increases business connections while sparking new ideas. Our monthly luncheons have keynote speakers addressing your concerns. We respect your time by keeping the programs on time. Have lunch and expand your knowledge about resources available to you, opportunities in the region, legislative updates, and more. We listen to your ideas and concerns, then follow up with leaders that can address those items. Looking for a little work and play? We have a great time at our annual Crawfish Boil and Golf Tournament!  WBIA Special Events is the place you can grab sponsorships, invite customers, clients and employees to get some work done outdoors. We work through five standing committees. 1) Government & Environment Committee 2) Workforce Development Committee 3) Special Events Committee 4) Infrastructure Committee and 5) Membership Committee.  WBIA serves on the Jefferson Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) Board; is one of seven nominating agencies for the two Jefferson Parish Board of Commissioners for the Port of New Orleans; on the Coastal Protection & Restoration Authority (CPRA) Board; the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority West (SLFPA-W) Board; Jefferson Parish Schools Career Technical Education Advisory Board; Ready Start Advisory Board; and the Jefferson Parish Workforce Development Board.
