About

The Tulane University Innovation Institute is committed to helping students, faculty, and community innovators develop their ideas, launch startups, and attract the resources to fuel innovation in the Gulf South and strengthen the area\’s economy.  From educational webinars and mentorship to pitch competitions and funding opportunities, the Tulane Innovations Institute supports entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. The Tulane Innovation Institute also supports Tulane Ventures. Tulane Ventures recently launched a $10M Seed fund, which supports opportunities for underrepresented, early-stage ventures in Louisiana (Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individuals, SEDI). These entrepreneurs have traditionally faced barriers to accessing capital, markets, and networks essential for growing their businesses. The fund will invest in Louisiana-based ventures in the health/medical, climate/energy, and artificial intelligence/technology sectors.
