Topic: Financing and Capital
This workshop will cover the impact of new initial and follow-on funding on the company’s capital structure. Whether the funding comes as equity or debt, the owners and investor need to understand how each round of funding will impact the ultimate outcome for all shareholders. Coverage will include cap tables to understand the impact on their potential returns from current and future round of funding, valuation, liquidation preferences, anti-dillution terms, convertible notes and option pools and vesting. This is one part of a 7-part series. One session is not a prerequisite for another.
